Before the Flowering collection was created, I was on a mission to learn and find "my style" within my work.

True to form, this is a diptych & these two painting subconsciously resemble ovaries. This makes sense because they are the ultimate essence of femininity. They are the reservoir power of Earth, yin, & feminine.

Ovaries are the true meaning of life. They produce oocytes (eggs) for fertilization and they produce the reproductive hormones, estrogen, and progesterone. These sacred feminine organs are the gift of life, they are a life-giving womb in harmony with Mother Earth and the rest of creation.

Through this piece, there can be pain, que explosion at the base of the piece. Women deal with a variety of medical drawbacks when it comes to their ovaries - causing sometimes an inability to bring life into the world.

A portion of this piece will be donated to the PCOS Awareness Association. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Awareness Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of this disorder worldwide.
